LIVING IN THE DUMPS

In north Baghdad these people have choosen to make their home in the middle of a dump. It is truly amazing to me how these people live. One day I saw them bathing in a pool of water in the middle of the dump. National Geographic here is a story to be told...

    i guess you'd get used to the smell. So is the dumping grounds not claimed as state property or i guess easy to sqaut on (if you dont mind your neighbors dumping on your propery.

    They love it when someone shows up at the dump site. They will unload your truck for free. Kinda like when you get off of a sruise ship and all the locals come out to sell their trinkets..
